"[Thorne] is one of the best
tellers of dark fantasy
tall-tales, able to spin a yarn
that's both outrageous and
surprisingly convincing, peopled
with flesh and blood characters
you can't help but like and care
about... and she wields her wild
sense of humor like a claymore."

. . WANNA HEAR SOMETHING
FUNNY?
It
doesn't matter who you want
for president, there's
something in this little gem
for everyone:
"This Land" Presidential
Parody (Flash Movie).
And if you enjoy that, check
out the links on
GrimmAcres' Freelander Smith
Page. You'll get to
laugh at whomever you most
like to laugh at, and
there's even a coupon to
help you with problems in
the current economy!
PSSST. .
. WANNA HEAR SOMETHING STRANGE?
Then
tune into
Magic Mind Radio,
Thursday, August 5th
at 5 pm PST / 8 pm EST, to
listen to Tamara Thorne and
Ed Craft co-host Magick Mind
Radio. It's all about the
ghosts. This week, they
interview Rob Riggs, author
of The Big Thicket, a
non-fiction book about,
among other things,
fireballs and wildmen and
ghost lights. Oh my!
WEIRD
FILES, WANDA THE PSYCHIC, RICKY
and the FAB ONE
Are all new
and on GrimmAcres for August.
Mel's Weird Files are full
of strange truths to tickle and
horrify you and sometimes make
milk squirt out your nose.
Wanda the Psychic is up to
her old tricks, answering the
eternal question, "Do you
think my house is haunted?",
as only she can. Over in the
Litter Box, Ricky gets
interrupted by the star of
The Forgotten, and
The Fab One is fabulous as
always.
SUMMER REPEATS ARE GOOD FOR YOU!
Last
Sunday's
Ghostly Talk radio show
was full of double entendres,
ghost stories and some really
good music. If you'd like to
hear this program, you
can listen or download it from
Ghostly Talk. (Scroll to the
bottom of the page and you'll
see the downloads. You'll
probably see lots of other
things you'll want to listen to,
as well. Three thumbs up for
Scott L., Doug, and Karma!
Just a
reminder,
The Devil's Wine
anthology is available now. For
more information, check
this out. We've got
excerpts!
